Moving in and out, switching frames while perfectly synced to the music, great ending, awesome use of perspective. And, yes, I could tell that it was inspired by 2001, which made this all the more better. Awesome job.

I tend to think in film when I'm making a flash. I try to envision what I would do if I had an actual camera rather than a flat canvas, so I live for depth and movement.

There's Potential!

This looks like it has some awesome potential, but content can still be improved.

The rebuilding process was excruciatingly difficult.. I'm sure others will agree. I looked at your hint in the description, tried placing the pieces in multiple places, and could get nothing out of it. I had to refresh the page a few times and start over in order to get it to work every once in a while.

What you have here is good, but can be made great. Making objects lock into place/etc, EVEN if the rebuilding is supposed to be difficult, will greatly improve gameplay.

Interesting Idea

Although I've seen some frame-by-frame line animations before, I haven't heard too much of the lines actually fighting. I think what you have here is certainly a good idea, it can just be executed better. The background, for example, could have been interactive with the lines, and the FPS can be increased to enhance quality. Overall, nice work!
